On December 12, 2022, Novozymes and Chr. Hansen entered into an agreement to create a global partnership in the field of biosolutions through the merger of the two companies. The proposed combination of the legacy companies Novozymes and Chr. Hansen has been successfully completed, resulting in the establishment of Novonesis.
Novonesis is a leading global partner in biosolutions, dedicated to better business, healthier lives, and a healthier planet.
The new company consists of around 10,000 talented employees worldwide, whose expertise spans more than 30 different industries.

Half of the company’s portfolio focuses on ensuring healthier lives and better food production. The other half is dedicated to reducing chemical usage and advancing practices towards climate neutrality.
